Meet the Teacher

My name is Amanda Capps.  I am from Crossville, Tennessee.  I attended Homestead Elementary School from K-8 grades and graduated from Cumberland County High School in 2006.  I graduated from Freed-Hardeman University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education K-6, and endorsements in 4-8, K-12 Special Education, 6-12 grade Mathematics, and English as a Second Language PreK-12.  I hold a Master's degree in Education from Walden University.  

I have been teaching since 2011. During my tenure as a teacher, I have worked at Stone Elementary, The Phoenix School, and the Central Office.

My husband's name is Caleb, and we have been married since January 16, 2021.  We welcomed our first child, Owen, in October 2022.
