Due to restrictions put into place as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic, Coldwater Community Schools will be holding virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences. Parents can connect with teachers either through a video conference or by phone using Google Meet. Virtual Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on the following dates and times:

Max Larsen, Jefferson, and Lakeland Elementary Schools

Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 1-4 PM and 5-8 PM
Thursday, November 5, 2020, 5-8 PM

Legg Middle School and Coldwater High School

Wednesday, November 4, 2020, 12-3 PM and 4-7 PM
Thursday, November 5, 2020, 4-7 PM

How It Works - Elementary Buildings

For hybrid classrooms, Each elementary building has sent conference request slips home with your child/children. If you haven't done so already, please Fill the form out and return it to the teacher. Teachers will send home information regarding your specific conference data and time.

At your conference date and time, click on the link for your child's school.

Each participating teacher at Max Larsen, Jefferson, and Lakeland has a link on the school's page to a Google Meet meeting which will be available during Conferences. You will be able to connect either through a video conference or by phone. Click/tap the meeting link for your child's teacher at your scheduled conference time. You will then be placed in a virtual waiting room; the teacher will let you join his/her meeting at your designated conference time.

For elementary Cardinal Academy, teachers emailed parents their electronic form that needs to be completed prior to conferences to schedule a conference time. If you need to schedule/reschedule your conference, please contact your child's teacher. Each participating Cardinal Academy teacher at Max Larsen, Jefferson, and Lakeland has a link on the school's page to a Google Meet meeting which will be available during Conferences. You will be able to connect either through a video conference or by phone. Click/tap the meeting link for your child's teacher at your scheduled conference time. You will then be placed in a virtual waiting room; the teacher will let you join his/her meeting at your designated conference time.

How It Works - LMS and CHS

Prior to Conferences, you will need to schedule a conference time. Each participating teacher at LMS and CHS has a link on the school's page to a form that you will need to complete to schedule a conference time. Each teacher's form includes the information on how to join his/her Google Meet. After submitting the form, You will receive a copy of the information via email with details on how to join his/her Google Meet meeting at your scheduled time. You will be able to connect either through a video conference or by phone.

Since the meeting link will be sent to the email address you provide, make sure it's correct before submitting.
Please submit the teacher's scheduling form as soon as possible after selecting it. If you have to wait a few minutes, please refresh that page in your browser before selecting the date and time to make sure the correct appointment times show up in the form.

Tips

Google Meet doesn't require any special software on PC, Mac, or Chromebooks. On mobile, Google Meet is included with the official Gmail app (iOS/Android). The official Google Meet app is also available from Google Play and the App Store.
Dial-in phone numbers will be provided for each participating teacher's conference in case you don't have a computer or a fast internet connection. At the prompt, enter the provided PIN followed by the pound sign (#) to be admitted into the meeting.
