Students are not identified for an IRIP based on the end of year benchmark assessments. All students are encouraged to read and are supported with access to 9 self-selected books through the Kids Read Now Summer Reading Program. Additional targeted summer programs are also available as needed to support student learning.
IRIP DnA Summary Assessment: The purpose of the DnA CCS FALL IRIP Summary Assessment is to gather the required information to generate the student’s IRIP. While a hard copy of the IRIP document will be maintained in each child’s IRIP folder (and from year to year in the CA60), the backup data will be maintained through DnA.
Teachers - Use the IRIP Teacher Planning Document to determine which students need an IRIP. Complete the DnA CCS FALL IRIP Summary Assessment for each student who requires an IRIP. (This is similar to the process in previous years. See DNA Instructions for help.)
