School Messenger

In this Covid-19 Outbreak, communication is going to be essential. SchoolMessenger will be our primary tool for getting important, accurate information out to you.

If you are not receiving updates from CCS or need to update your contact information, please send an email to helpdesk@ccs.coloma.org.

  1. Opt in for SMS - Click the link and follow the directions if you AREN'T already receiving text messages from school

Please note: Your number in PowerSchool must be listed as "mobile" for you to opt in to text messages.

2. Update Your Preferences in the PowerSchool Parent Portal

Go to colomapowerschool.berrienresa.org/

Enter your login information.

If you do not remember your password, please use the "Forgot Password" link. If you do not have a PS login, please contact the school office for details.


In the menu on the left, find and click on the SchoolMessenger link.

Use the "Preferences" link in the menu.

Choose a phone number to update your preferences. Make sure it says "OK to call this phone".

Check or uncheck the boxes to receive messages to that number. Most messages are sent as "General".
