About the Teacher

I am very happy to be at Pine View this year. I graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 2001, and taught the past 25 years in Morgan County. My former school, Petros-Joyner, was a lot like Pine View, in that it was very small, but so much like a family. I have taught middle school math for the past 14 years. Math is my jam!

I've lived in Oakdale my entire life. I have been married for 29 years to Greg Mayo. We have 3 children: Shawn and twins, Carter and Caroline. We have three grandchildren: Weston (age 9), Austin (age 6), and Maizie (age 5 months). We also have 3 fur-babies: Tyson, Sadie, and Teddy. 

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling to places I've never been, watching true crime shows, and computing any and all data!
