Meet your school counselor!

Hi! My name is Ms. Kiere and I am so excited to be here with you this year! I have lived in this part of Virginia for twelve years and I love the mountains, especially Old Rag! I came from the Chesapeake Bay (St Mary's County, Maryland) area before that where I went to school at St. Mary's College and then on to Bowie State for my Masters.   I raised my two children (who are now adults) in St. Mary's. I  was a school counselor there for eleven years. I love to hike, garden and do yoga. I love nature and photography and I have two dogs. I love to travel to other countries and I frequently visit my daughter who lives and works in Mexico as a PH.D Research  Biologist. My son lives in Arizona and is in Humanitarian Aid Crisis Response. He travels all over the world to respond to natural and humanitarian crisis.
