Progress Notes

Progress Reports are a way for parents/guardians to see the progress their student is making towards their IEP goals. These reports are sent out every four and a half weeks along with interim reports. There is no need for the progress reports to be signed and returned to school, but it is very important for parents/guardians to review them. While all progress reports are important and need to read by parents, the first progress report is especially important. The first weeks of school give the teachers and other professionals that work with your child an opportunity to get to know your child and his or her unique learning style. The time of the first progress report is the perfect opportunity to review and discuss whether your child’s program is appropriate or if any goals needs to be adjusted. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you feel changes need to be made or if you would like to discuss your student’s IEP progress.
