CCPS students don't need to have a library card to access Culpeper County Public Library's bounty of free eBooks and audiobooks; rather, they can simply sign in to Sora using their CCPS Google credentials!
It is worth noting that Sora filters content by age. Books tagged as "high school level" reads may be filtered out of search results. Students interested in accessing higher level, more mature books are encouraged to also obtain a separate public library card (unaffiliated with the school system). The public library card can then be used for unfilitered access to eBooks and audiobooks through Libby.
Students are encouraged to set up their accounts (if they haven't already done so!) using the instructions on the left. Once signed in, they will have access to the eBooks and audiobooks acquired by both Culpeper County Public Schools and the public library, "Blueridge Download Consortium." Students can access these materials using their Chromebooks, a tablet, a Kindle device, or even their smart phones. The Sora app can be downloaded for free in the App Store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). From there, you will be able to access Sora directly through the app on your smart phone or tablet. Got a Kindle device? Click here to find out how to send Sora eBooks to your Kindle.

Access over 60,000 free public domain eBooks in a variety of user-friendly formats. The only catch? All books available on this site are public domain titles--classics. This means that you won’t find more modern stories that are still protected by copyright laws.
This website offers thousands of free audiobooks read by volunteers. Same as with Project Gutenberg, the books available on LibriVox are classics that are in the public domain.
This website provides eBook and audiobook versions of countless classic books, stories, myths, and poems. You can browse by genre, collection, and reading level.
