Family, Career and Community Leaders of America or FCCLA is an intra-curricular organization connected to all Family and Consumer Sciences classes. FCCLA is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work and societal issues through family and consumer sciences education. FCCLA activities and projects will be incorporated into the class throughout the year. Students have the opportunity to compete in STAR Events at Virginia Beach in April if interested. Students are required to participate in class FCCLA activities, but after school FCCLA activities are optional.
