SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
Wednesday, May 15 - Senior Breakfast, 8:00 AM - 8:45 AM, Cafe - MANDATORY
Wednesday, May 15 - Senior Walk - MANDATORY - Departing from EVHS by bus at 9:00 AM. Students will wear caps and gowns.
Wednesday, May 15 - Senior Class Photo - After students return from Senior Walk, the senior class photo will be taken in the gymnasium in cap and gown.
Wednesday, May 15 - Graduation Practice, 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM, Auditorium - MANDATORY- Please make sure graduation practice attire adheres to the school dress code. No cell phones will be allowed during practice. Students will be given a list of their outstanding debts at the first graduation practice. Please pay all debts prior to graduation day as on-field tickets will be withheld until all debts are paid.
Wednesday, May 15 - EVHS Convocation Night, 6:00 PM, Auditorium - Only those being recognized will receive an invitation, but all seniors are welcome to attend. Wear cap and gown. Seniors must be in the Forum at 5:30 PM for a walk-through.
Thursday, May 16 - Graduation Practice, 9:00 AM, Auditorium - MANDATORY- Full practice walk-through. Field tickets will be distributed to those who are debt-free.
Thursday, May 16 - Top 20 Dinner, 6:00 PM, Gymnasium- The honor graduates and their family members will be notified and invited to attend after final grades are posted. Cap and gown should not be worn for this event.
Saturday, May 18 - GRADUATION, 9:00 AM, Cyclone Stadium - Students/staff arrive before 7:00. Cyclone Way will close at 7:00. Stadium gates open at 7:30 for guests (or gymnasium opens at 8:00 in the case of inclement weather). May be slightly delayed depending on setup.
Tickets
Each student receives 4 stadium (on-field) tickets and 2 auditorium tickets (for inclement weather) at the 2nd graduation practice (student must be debt-free)
Tickets are NOT necessary for spectators to sit in bleachers at Cyclone Stadium
Reserve disabled tickets from April 28 - May 11 by completing the Google form, which will be made available online at that time. A limit of 175 tickets will be given out. More details to follow.
Inclement Weather – A School Messenger call will be made to parents in the event of changes to venue.
Parents or guests with a ticket for on-field seating will use the ticket to access the Gym in case the graduation ceremony is moved inside. Only on-field ticket holders will be allowed into the Gym and must enter through the Gymnasium entrance.
In addition to the on-field seating tickets, each senior will receive two auditorium tickets for overflow seating to view the live feed of the graduation ceremony. Remaining seating in the auditorium will be available for other guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals without a ticket for on-field seating must enter through the Auditorium doors.
Cap and Gown Information
Jostens will be here Wednesday, March 20th during all lunch shifts to distribute cap and gown units, announcements, and other senior items for those who ordered and paid prior to the group pricing deadline. Those who ordered later will either pick up items at a future distribution date TBD or have items shipped home.
If you/your student is not taking classes in the building this term, please contact Rebecca Kauffman at rk5394@ccpsweb.org after March 21st to arrange for pickup.
If you still need to order the cap and gown unit or if you have any questions about the status of your order, please call Jostens directly at 1-800-JOSTENS.
School Fees
Non-returned textbooks or sports equipment and/or unpaid school fees will result in on-field tickets being withheld until all obligations are paid and/or textbook and/or equipment is returned.
All fees must be paid to the bookkeeper, Ms. Debbi St. Onge, located in the Main Office
Graduation Speakers
Two graduation speakers will be selected to deliver a speech on a theme TBD.
Available to any senior as long as they follow the guidelines set forth in the application.
More information will be provided in March.
