WELCOME!

Welcome!

This is the web page for Mr. Curnow's US History I class.

This course is designed to cover important events that have shaped the United States from Pre-Columbian times through the Civil War. Your child will be viewing and interpreting periods in United States history from various perspectives, including historical, geographical, political, economic, and cultural. Together, these perspectives can help us to understand how the past has led to our present and to appreciate our role in shaping the future.

We will watch multiple historically based videos & clips. The video ratings range from G - PG 13 and may contain re-enactments of wars or war like images. If you do not feel comfortable having your child view these types of images please let me know.

I will update my Google Classroom before each new unit, here students can find all the notes, assignments and activities.

You may contact me with questions or concerns at school 540-829-6894 ex. 3416 between 9:20 and 10:30 AM OR e-mail me (preferred) at ac9807@ccpsweb.org .
