Kevin Weber: School Counselor. Mr. Weber is in his third year at CMS, after spending 20 years in Orange and Spotsylvania Counties. He is a native of Buffalo, NY, moving to VA in 2004. He earned his college degrees in Psychology and School Counseling from Buffalo State College, and The University at Buffalo. He is proud to say he is the counselor of the greatest group of kids CMS has ever seen. Our 8th grade class is really special, and their smiles brighten each and every one of Mr. Weber's days. He is an avid sports fan, enjoys visiting his family in New York, and loves watching sitcoms and reading in his free time. Tammy Bowen: School Counselor. Mrs. Bowen is in her second year at CMS, having spent the last 20 years as a school counselor in both Culpeper and Orange County Schools. She also spent another 11 1/2 years in education in North Carolina before moving to Virginia. She is a native of Murfreesboro, NC and moved to VA in 2005. She earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Roanoke-Chowan Community College (NC), Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from Shaw University (NC), and her Master's in School Counseling from Cambridge College in Boston MA. She loves serving at her church, being a part of her church’s ministry with NASCAR Racing Experience, and spending time with her husband. She is looking forward to joining the 6th grade team in helping students thrive in middle school. John Bridges, school counselor and Director of Counseling at CMS, is in his 19th year at our school. Mr. Bridges grew up in Fredericksburg and graduated from Stafford High School. He attended Germanna Community College and earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Brigham Young University. He received his Master's Degree in Counselor Education at Radford University. Mr. Bridges enjoys spending time with his family and playing pickleball.
