Develop a list of broad and narrow keywords for searching:

Broad terms related to the Holocaust cover a wide range of different people, places, events, and concepts whereas narrow terms are more specific.

For example, the key concept of concentration camps is broad as it could pull back source results on any camp where as Auschwitz Concentration Camp is specific and will only bring back results on the Auschwitz Camp.
