If you are able to login to my.ccpsnet.net, but you cannot get on Canvas, try clicking on the Courses button (book) on the left of the Canvas screen and then the Dashboard Button (speedometer). Next, see if you can click on your homeroom teacher's Canvas classroom.
When things aren't going quite right, logoff and restart your Chromebook. If that doesn't work, check to see that you are signed in to Google with your student CCPS account. If that doesn't fix it, try clearing your cache. Next, try removing and reinstalling your Chromebook profile. Finally, contact your teacher and describe the problem. They will work to fix the issue on their end. If they can't, they will suggest that you go to a Chromebook Support Site. If you lose your charger, they may be ordered here.
