From November 23-24 this year, Latin Club will be going to the Virginia Junior Classical League, or what we simply call Latin Con. Not only is it a fun time to spend with friends, but you can also create art projects, speak authentic Latin texts, or even attend seminars (or discamus sessions) to learn about something you could've never thought of before! This is truly a fantastic experience, and you can check out even more about it on the newsletter!

This summer, our 1st VP Evie Anderson went to the Virginia Latin Governor's Academy for a three-week program. Not only did she learn more about Latin and the Classics, but she was also able to experience immersive activities, such as dances and shows she performed in, reading entirely in Latin.

"The GLA experience was such a fun experience, and I made so many new friends and memories throughout the three weeks," Evie says. "I also learned a lot about Classics, through many amazing teachers - including Midlo's own Mr. Wilkins!"
