The Olympics have been held all over the world. Below you will find a Google My Map that has been created with place marks in the locations of many of the Olympic games. The placemarks include links to really cool facts and information about the Olympic Games. Use the small icon on the top left to pop out a menu for the map or expand it full screen using the icon on the top right. Zoom in super close on the map to see what you can find!
You can create your own map in Google My Maps by going to www.google.com/maps/d/ or by creating a "NEW" map in Google Drive. Watch the video to the right for a quick tutorial on making a map from Google Drive

After going on a virtual field trip or trip around the world on the Google Map, complete a reflection activity or activities from below. You will need to be logged into your student dashboard my.ccpsnet.net so you can make a copy of the document. It would be fantastic if you could share the link to your activity when you fill out the Going For Gold Summer Learning Challenge form for a point towards a medal. Copy and paste it where it says "Please share the information below about your activity".
