You may be eligible for assistance for the cost of child care through the Virginia Dept. of Social Services.
You can apply online or screen for eligibility. You can also pick up an application at Chesterfield DSS.
Smart Beginnings
If you are having trouble paying for child care in Richmond City, Chesterfield or Henrico for your 3 or 4 year old, we can help. Support from Smart Beginnings may be available for you! 3 & 4 year-olds enrolled in select child care centers may be eligible for payment support.
