The Scheduling Process

Rising 6th Grade

5th grade students visit BBMS on January 29

January 30 6:30 pm VIB Night

Elementary School Visits February 3-February 14

Review BBMS Scheduling Website and discuss selections

Consult with your 5th grade teachers about teacher input 

Complete Rising 6th Grade Course Request Form   (by Feb 24)

Counselors will review and enter requested courses in our system (Synergy). 

Once entered, Course Requests will be viewable (view only) in Student/ParentVUE (March 3). Review Course Requests.

Submit Course Verification Form (March 10- 21) to verify that you have reviewed the course and request any additional changes.

FINAL DAY to submit a change to your course request is March 21st.  

Rising 7th-8th GradeRs

Classroom Visits - Counselors will visit Math classes to guide students through course selections (Feb 5 - Feb 14)

Review Course Requests at home - families should review course selections, make any changes, sign and turn in forms to counseling

1. 1. 1. • Counselors will use courses chosen in classes if students do not turn in signed course selection sheet.

         • Counselors will follow up with students absent during class lessons
