What is a PACK?
P- Purposeful A- Activities C- Created for K- Kids
During PACK night, students were able to join their chosen pack, or club, and show their parents everything they have learned and created throughout the school year.
Title I hosted a "spelling games" table which gave parents ideas of ways to help their students at home with their reading. Students also chose free books to take home and read with parents!
PK/K Registration Event
During this event, students received:
A tote bag with school supplies, school handbooks, a Title I information and resources packet, and activities to take home!
In choosing one school per state nationwide, FANCY GAP ELEMENTARY SCHOOL was chosen!

For the 2022-23 school year, this author/illustrator duo and their four children visited Title I elementary schools in all 50 states!
This first-of-its-kind tour combined a nationwide book giveaway for students to take home and share with their families, as well as a major research study on the impact of creator/student engagement.
First Semester- October 23rd
Carroll County Parent Teacher Conferences
3:30-6:30
Come by and see Title I for resources, questions, or ideas on how to help your child with reading and math at home.
Second Semester- March 18th
Parents were able to write a note for their students to read, or be read to, on their first day!
Open House- August 7th, 2023
On open house day, the Title I staff and table provided information about Schoolwide Title I, how it affects our school, and how it may benefit students.
Copies of our Parent Engagement Policy, Parent Compact, Title I Schoolwide Plan for 2023-2024, and a volunteer sign up sheet were available.
