Supporting our Students with the Panda Promise

Students participate in morning meetings and greetings with their class. Each classroom has a buddy class in the building with whom they visit and get together for special activities. 

Our students gain important social-emotional skills with Second Step lessons, morning meetings, and learning about the 7 Habits of Happy Kids. 

Throughout the year we dress for different themes and have a variety of celebrations to promote fun and recognize when students show the Panda Promise. 

Students receive spaces on their Panda Passports for showing the Panda Promise. Once all 25 spaces on their passports are filled, students can cash in for privileges. Passports are entered into a bimonthly raffle for special prizes, and students bring them home to share with their families.

Awesome students have excellent attendance. Classrooms can earn PAWs when they meet their attendance goals each week. PAWs can be cashed in for different classroom celebrations.

Students who need additional support following expectations check in with a staff mentor at the beginning and end of each day and track their goals using a daily point card.
