How to Obtain a Work Permit for Maryland:
Go to the website below and click” Apply for a permit online”.
The minor applies for a permit online and prints the permit.
The minor signs the permit.
The minor's parent or guardian signs the permit.
The employer signs the permit and then keeps the permit on file.
A new permit must be submitted when you change employers.

How to Obtain a Work Permit for Delaware:
Go to the website below and click to download permit
Complete the section marked “minor”. If you are 14 or 15 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must sign the permit.
Take the permit to your employer and ask them to complete the section marked “Employer”.
Email the completed permit, and a copy of your government issued ID( birth certificate, license, state ID, passport) to workpermits@delaware.gov.
When you receive the completed permit back from the Delaware Dept of Labor, give the permit to the employer to keep on file.
