I am very excited to be starting my 12th year with Cedarville Elementary, and would love to share a little bit about myself with you all.

I currently reside in Huber Heights, Ohio with my supportive husband of 19 years, Rob, and we have one beautiful daughter named Kendall. In my free time, I enjoy reading, swimming, sunshine, playing games, dancing, laughing, walking, and spending time with my family and friends.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from The University of Toledo in 2006 with a concentration in Middle Childhood Education: Language Arts and Social Studies.  After graduation, I started my first teaching position at Horizon Science Academy in Dayton, Ohio where I taught 8th grade language arts for one year.  The next step on my teaching journey led me to Piqua City Schools.  I enjoyed teaching social studies and language arts to 4th grade students for 8 years.   While teaching for Piqua, I earned my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Bowling Green State University in 2010.  I am now happy to begin my 21st year of teaching!

In my classroom, I have very high expectations for all students and sincerely believe all students can learn and reach them. I enjoy making learning meaningful and fun! Please never hesitate to contact me with questions, concerns, or ideas. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a successful year for your student!
