I have been married for 34 years. We have 6 adult children (Karyn, Eric, Mark and Alex) and a son-in-law (Nate), and a daughter-in-law (Bethlehem).

I graduated from Cedarville College in 1990 with a BA in Elementary Education (Grades 1-8). I taught middle school for 3 years at Heritage Christian School in Milwaukee, WI. When we moved back to Cedarville, I subbed for one year before teaching full time. Later, I completed my masters degree at Cedarville University. This is my 23rd year teaching at Cedarville Elementary in 4th and 5th Grade.
