I graduated from Ohio Northern University in 2005 with a B.A. in Middle Childhood Education, specializing in Math and Science. After graduation, I spent four years as a substitute teacher while earning my Master’s Degree in Science Education (K–8) from Walden University. I began my full-time teaching career at a charter school in Dayton, where I taught 5th-grade Math and Science for five years.
This is my 12th year at Cedarville and my 17th year in education. I feel incredibly blessed to be part of the Cedarville family and am excited to work with your student(s) in science this year.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, Scott (we’ve been married for eight years), and my two stepdaughters, Lilly (Senior Year) and Claire (6th grade). Most weekends, you’ll find me cheering them on at their golf matches or volleyball games—both school and club teams. I also enjoy reading, relaxing with family and friends, and napping with our two dogs: Juneau (Goldendoodle) and Kodiak (Bernedoodle).
