The CogAT is a cognitive abilities test given to students in 2nd and 5th grade. We use the test for gifted identification purposes, but there is SO much data that can be helpful to all students about their reasoning abilities and how to help them. Check out these resources to understand more about CogAt assessments and how you can use the scores and profile to enhance your instruction.
No matter what grade or level you teach, the data from these CogAT reports can be helpful. When you would like to see a COGat profile for your gifted students, contact the GIS.
