Helpful Tips:

• It is recommended that you do NOT wait until the end of the semester to log everything!

• Don't forget to snap a pic (if it is appropriate) while you are doing your service. These pictures can be uploaded in the service hours form, and could be highlighted on CCISD NHS website, CCISD social media, and the NHS Induction Ceremony in May!

• Per NHS Bylaws, individual service hours CANNOT be part of another school organizations activities. 

  • • • Example: Concession stand hours for National Spanish Honor Society cannot be counted as our National Honor Society hours. FFA service hours cannot be counted as NHS hours.

• Mandatory Activities organized by the Chapter cannot be used as individual service hours unless the minimum requirements have been met. 

  • • • Example: The Salvation Army Kettle Bell 2 person (2 hour) ringing shifts do not count towards the 20 semester service hours for the Fall unless the required 4 two hour shifts (8 hours total) have been completed AND submitted online.
