2026 Highlands High School Southside Lions Park Orienteering Meet
The fifth Orienteering competition was held this past weekend, February 7th, hosted by Highlands High School at Southside Lion’s Park in San Antonio, TX. Cadets showcased impressive skill and determination, earning top placements across the courses—Jonathan Russell (2nd) and James Corbett (5th) on the Yellow Course; Sam Cullum (1st), Emerson Pope (2nd), and Scott Claiborne (3rd) on the Orange Course; and Mac Fletcher (1st), Manuel Saenz (2nd), and Anthony Muller (3rd) on the Green Course. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and outstanding performance!
2026 Brackenridge Orienteering Meet
On January 10, our orienteering cadets traveled to Brackenridge Park in San Antonio, Texas, to compete in their fourth competition of the season and turned in outstanding performances across all courses. On the Green Course, Aaron Guerra earned 1st place, followed by Mac Fletcher in 2nd and Nathan Zimmer in 3rd. In the Orange Course, Madeleine DiGiovanni placed 1st in the female division, while Samuel Cullum earned 2nd place in the male division. On the Yellow Course, Luke Alonzo finished strong with a 3rd-place result. Great job to our cadets
2025 St. Stephen's Austin Orienteering Meet
On November 11, our orienteering cadets traveled all the way to Austin, TX, to compete in their third competition at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School’s large campus. Our team came home with outstanding results:
Green Course: Jonathan White (2nd), Aaron Guerra (3rd)
Orange Course: Anthony Muller (2nd), Madeleine DiGiovanni (2nd – Female Division). Yellow Course: Emerson Pope (1st), Luke Alonzo (3rd). Great job, orienteers!
2025 Olmos Basin Park Orienteering Meet
The second Orienteering competition was held this past weekend, November 1st, at Olmos Basin Park in San Antonio, TX. Cadets showed incredible skill and determination, earning top placements across the courses- Aaron Guerra (3rd) and Mac Fletcher (1st) on the Green Course- and Anthony Muller (3rd), Madeleine DiGiovanni (2nd Female Division), and Aidan Salazar (1st) on the Orange Course. We’re so proud of their all their practice they put in to win!

2024 Brackenridge Park Challenge
(19 Oct 2024) LSOC hosted our first neutral site orienteering competition this year. This includes 9 high schools with 4 different categories. Out of the 17 cadets that participated in this locate event, 9 placed, and received a medal. Great Job Team!! To our parents and supporters, we could not have done it without you!!!

2025 Stubblefield Park Challenge
(1 February 2025) HOUSTON, we have a problem... Central Catholic has arrived! We brought 13 well prepared and eager cadets ready to take on Houston's best course. 14 schools, 5 clubs and several foreign individuals competed in this challenge. When the day ended, Central walked away with 6 medals. Great job Team!!!
