Dear families,

As you will be aware, I received a call from Ofsted on Monday 24th February 2025 and we were inspected on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. I would like to thank parents and carers for your support during the inspection and particularly thank those of you who completed the Ofsted parental survey. Our pupils were, as always, a credit to themselves, to their families and to the school, both in terms of their conduct and for how they engaged with the inspection process. 

The report is likely to be published at the end of this term and I will of course update families with the outcome and share the report once it is published. I am limited to what I can share before then but I can share that the two days were positive and the lead inspector, Brian Oppenheim HMI, said it was a pleasure to work with the pupils and staff over the course of the inspection. 

I would like to thank Year 9 parents who were involved in Year 9 parents’ evening on Wednesday and I know Year 9 pupils are putting careful thought into their preferences for their GCSE option subjects. 

Finally, I would like to wish the CCF community a peaceful weekend and a blessed Ramadan.
