In The Loop

Dear families,

It has been a busy week at CCF and I am sure you will enjoy reading this week’s ITL. I would like to thank parents of Year 8 pupils who attended the Year 8 parent information evening on Wednesday and thank Mr Depala, Head of Year 8, and Mr Gough, Assistant Headteacher, for hosting the informative session. Next Tuesday is the information evening for parents of Year 7 pupils and we look forward to seeing you there.

A reminder that our first Parent Voice session of this academic year will take place in person on Tuesday 13 October 2026 6-7pm. Please email info@ccfplus.com if you would like to attend and also let us know if there are any items you would like to see on the agenda.

I know that the vast majority of our pupils travel to and from school independently, either by walking or using public transport. I would like to thank families for your support with ensuring your child arrives safely and on time each morning. I have been contacted by a local resident who has expressed concern that some parents are dropping off or picking up on local roads and that this can cause disruption to local residents and potentially be dangerous, and I would ask you to show consideration should you need to drop off or collect your child.

Finally, Monday is World Teacher Day and I am sure I speak for the whole CCF community when I thank our staff for everything they do each and every day to make CCF the successful school we undoubtedly are. Have a peaceful weekend.

Kind regards,

Dr Ruth Hill

Headteacher
