Dear families,

Following our successful open evening last week, we have a number of open mornings coming up to showcase the school to prospective families. This week I also undertook our first open morning for current families and I am grateful to the parents who attended and took the opportunity to see the school in action. I would like to remind families that our calendar is available on our website and I look forward to seeing parents at upcoming events including tonight’s bingo.

I would like to thank the parents of Year 11 pupils who attended the Year 11 information evening this week and particularly thank you for your understanding when there was an unscheduled fire alarm during the evening. I hope that parents and carers found the evening to be informative and useful as your child starts this important year. Information evenings have already taken place for students in the sixth form and there are evenings planned for the other year groups as outlined in our calendar. 

I would like to wish our Jewish families an easy and meaningful fast this Yom Kippur and our Hindu families an enjoyable Durga Puja and Navaratri.
