Mental Health Awareness Week
This week, Christ’s College Finchley has marked Mental Health Awareness Week with a strong focus on the theme of Community and Connection. The importance of supporting one another and recognising the role of community in maintaining positive mental health was at the heart of our activities.
To launch the week, all students attended an assembly exploring what mental health means, why it matters, and how we can support each other. We highlighted that everyone has mental health, just like physical health, and that feeling connected to others plays a crucial role in our wellbeing.
Each day, we shared posts on our Instagram page offering advice, resources, and reflections on how we can build a more supportive school environment. These daily messages encouraged students to think about their own mental health and how they can help others through kindness, inclusion and active listening.
We are proud of how our students have engaged with this important week, and we remain committed to fostering a school community where everyone feels supported, valued, and heard.
