Free School Meals
Changes to Free School Meals (FSM) – Starting September 2026
Your child may be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:
Universal Credit - if you apply on or after 1 April 2018 your household income must be £7,400 a year or less (after tax and not including any benefits you get)
income-related Employment and Support Allowance
support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.
Your child may also get free school meals if you get any of these benefits and your child is both:
younger than the compulsory age for starting school
in full-time education
From the start of academic year 2026 to 2027, your child will qualify for free school meals if you get Universal Credit, regardless of household income.
If you do not qualify for most benefits (also known as having ‘no recourse to public funds’), your child may still be eligible for free school meals.
You must apply/re-apply this academic year to ensure that your child is receiving Free School Meals, please do so on the Government Website here if you have not done so already.

The trip will offer a wonderful blend of language, culture, adventure and fun. It promises to be an unforgettable experience, giving students the confidence to use their French, a deeper appreciation of Swiss culture and plenty of memories with their peers to treasure.

CCF Website
Please ensure to keep an eye on our school website which can be found here.
Any urgent messages will be displayed on the homepage and, as mentioned by Dr Hill, the calendar on the website is updated with all school events including parent/carer evenings and trips.
You can also locate any 'all year' letters that will have been sent via email for this academic here.
MCAS
My Child At School (MCAS) is the platform the school uses to share information with parents regarding attendance, behaviour, attainment and school reports. MCAS can be accessed via the web or the MCAS App.
All parents should have an MCAS account to ensure they receive up-to-date information on their child. Login details were sent to all parents without accounts earlier last week. If you do not have an account, please contact mcas@ccfplus.com and login details will be emailed to you. Parents with existing accounts do not need to do anything, as accounts will roll over to this academic year.
Please note, the MCAS activation email comes from MCAS directly and not from a Christ's College email address. If you have not received this email, check your spam mailbox as well as your regular inbox.
