Submit your paper, lightning talk, panel, tutorial, or poster by Sunday, August 03rd, 2025!
The ACM SIGCITE 2025 Program Committee will accept submissions for papers, student papers, lightning talks, panels, tutorials, and posters until the firm submission deadline of August 03rd, 2025.
The deadline for submitting proposals is Sunday, August 3rd, 2025 at 11:59 PM (anywhere in the world).
Submissions must use and follow the ACM Template (see below) and be anonymized (authors' names removed, except for Panels) before submission via the EasyChair platform.
Submissions must adhere to the page limits listed for each track below. Any submissions that exceed these limits will be rejected without review.
All authors must include their ORCID, which is "a free, unique, persistent identifier (PID) for individuals to use as they engage in research, scholarship, and innovation activities." Authors who have not yet registered for a free ORCID should do so at orcid.org. Authors who are planning to submit a joint proposal with one or more co-authors should ask them for their ORCID well before the deadline.
Authors are strongly encouraged to also serve as a reviewer or to submit the email address of a colleague who is willing and able to serve as a reviewer.
Following a submission and notification of acceptance, if applicable, authors should closely monitor their email throughout the review process and quickly respond to any questions or requests that the Program Committee or Sheridan, the ACM’s publishing vendor, may send them.
The Program Committee will notify authors regarding the acceptance or rejection of their submission by Friday, September 5th, 2025.
Though formatting a submission may appear daunting to first-time authors, the Conference Committee especially encourages them to be persistent. Most authors find that, after investing the necessary time and effort to familiarize themselves with one of the template options during their first submission, it becomes easier with each subsequent submission.
The templates use styles, which are saved combinations of formatting that are applied to text and graphic elements such as words, paragraphs, tables, and figures. Via their name these styles are also used to identify the various components of the document (title, subtitle, author name, institution name, city, country, heading, subheading, paragraph text, figure, table, reference text, etc.) so that they can be easily distinguished and retrieved for electronic publication purposes. It is therefore very important to apply the correct style to each text or graphic element. Since, however, most formatting details can be ignored while composing the submission content, many authors find it useful to compose the content using a familiar tool, such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs, and then to paste the various content elements into one of the templates which are available for download above. After copying a text element from your source document, it may help to highlight the corresponding text element in the template and then to select “Paste Special, Text only” or similar to replace the text element with the desired content while maintaining the style assigned in the template. Keeping in mind the importance of using the correct styles, any required post-transfer edits can be applied within the template.
Sheridan, the ACM’s publishing vendor, will identify and notify authors of any formatting errors on accepted publications. Authors will have approximately one week after notification to correct any errors to meet the camera-ready submission deadline.
If your poster submission is accepted and you would like to have it printed near the conference venue, contact the FedEx Office Print & Ship Center at 8251 Bruceville Rd #110, Sacramento, CA 95823. If you would like the Conference Chair to pick up your pre-paid poster at this location and have it ready for you to pick up at the registration desk, you must designate Markus Geissler as an authorized person for pickup and have the poster ready for pickup by no later than Wednesday, November 05th, 2025 at 5:00 PM.

Since our community lives by the contributions of its members, we need as many Cybersecurity and Information Technology educators, researchers, and industry practitioners as possible to volunteer their time to make our annual conference a success. We are especially looking for submission reviewers, but we also need volunteers to serve as session chairs during the conference.
The ACM SIGCITE 2025 Program Committee is committed to ensuring a fair and professional review process. If you are not sure whether you would be a good reviewer, or if you want to update your reviewing skills, you should complete the free self-paced ACM Peer Review Training Course available on the ACM website.
If you can contribute some of your time and expertise for the benefit of our community, please sign up via the Volunteer Sign-up Form.
