MEET THE COACHES!
Kelley Anzalone
Coach Kelley Anzalone has been a dedicated swimming coach for over a decade, working across the modified, JV, and varsity levels. She has proudly served as a Saint for the past nine years, beginning as the JV Girls Swim Coach in 2017. In the 2022–2023 season, Coach Anzalone stepped into a new chapter as the head coach of both the boys and girls varsity swim programs, where her leadership, knowledge, and enthusiasm have helped elevate the team’s success.
Coach Anzalone’s love for swimming began at just eight years old, when her father encouraged her to “give it a try.” That one try turned into a 15-year competitive swimming career. Over the years, she competed for her local club team, swam for Brockport High School, and capped off her career as a member of the Nazareth College women’s swim team.
In college, Coach Anzalone specialized in some of the most demanding events in the sport: the 200 Butterfly, 200 Backstroke, and 400 Individual Medley. Her experience with these "specialty" strokes has proven invaluable—not just for developing well-rounded JV swimmers early in their careers, but also for shaping the depth and competitiveness of both the girls and boys varsity programs.
Known for her calm and encouraging coaching style, Coach Anzalone is passionate about helping swimmers grow as both athletes and individuals. She is committed to creating a positive, inclusive environment where athletes feel supported to push their limits and celebrate their progress.
Coach Anzalone looks forward to continuing to inspire and guide swimmers at every level—encouraging them to give their best in and out of the pool, and to find joy in the process along the way.
My name is Regina SanFilipo and I am very excited to come on as the Assistant Varsity Boys Coach. This is my 3rd year coaching varsity boys swimming. I am a 5th-grade teacher in the Red House at the Middle School and so happy to be part of the Churchville Chili community. Swimming has always been a part of my life. I grew up with competitive swimming and come from a family of competitive swimmers. My background includes swimming from a young age to the varsity level at Spencerport Central School District. During my swimming career, my specialties were backstroke, butterfly, and the IM. I look forward to working with you all!
Ricky Krebs
Pool Supervisor
Section V Swimming & Diving Committee Diving Liaison
Coach Ricky is entering his 17th year coaching varsity diving and his 11th year as a proud Saint. His journey into the world of diving began as a child, tagging along with his mom while she coached at York Central and SUNY Geneseo. He often jokes that he grew up on varsity pool decks—and he’s got the pictures to prove it.
Ricky’s competitive swimming and diving career began early and continued through college. Interestingly, he was arguably a better swimmer than diver in high school. His specialties? “Everything except breaststroke. I was terrible at breaststroke,” he says. Despite that, he consistently placed in the top 5 at sectional championships and wrapped up his high school career as a 2-time MVP, 3-time team captain, and 2-time school record holder. As a freshman at SUNY Geneseo, he made the decision to hang up his goggles and focus solely on diving—a choice he doesn’t regret.
His coaching career began as a full-time volunteer at York Central while still in college. During his time there, his divers rewrote the school record board, which is now made up entirely of athletes trained by either him or his mother. One of his favorite coaching memories is from the 2014 Sectional Championship Meet, when his divers placed 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
In 2015, Coach Ricky joined Churchville-Chili, where he has built a respected diving program. Under his leadership, CC diving has produced the highest-scoring divers in school history, multiple top-5 record holders, and the first All-American in Churchville-Chili Swimming and Diving history.
To date, Coach Ricky’s divers have earned:
5 sectional titles
7 state meet appearances
6 school records
15 top-five school performances
10 pool records
2 All-American designations
What Ricky loves most about coaching is the chance to share his passion and knowledge of diving with his athletes. That passion was sparked by watching his late mother coach with heart and dedication. Her influence lives on through the Spring Morrow Sportsmanship Award, founded by Ricky and awarded to one athlete from each team at sectional finals.
"Her passion for teaching what she loved was infectious. I'm proud to carry on that legacy and hope to leave one of my own."
