Mrs. Lomshek

Welcome to Mrs. Lomshek's class! This is my sixth year as a 2nd grade Reading/ELA and Religion teacher at Corpus Christi.  Previously I taught 3rd grade for 30 years at Schwegler Elementary School in Lawrence Public Schools before taking an early retirement. Teaching has been my passion for many years and I love working with a diverse group of learners. I am so excited to work together to make this a great year for your child.

My husband, Matt and I have 3 children who also attended Corpus Christi Catholic School.  Mackenzie and Corbin are married with a 2 year old daughter named Taytum and a baby boy on the way in early November.  Mackenzie is a wedding and event planner. My middle child, Katie is also a wedding and event planner and a Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleader.  My youngest, Hunter, graduated from KU and got his masters at The University of Oklahoma.  He works for OU in the Athletic Department.  I am a Sooner by default and we are a family of 5 Jayhawks- Rock Chalk!  

I enjoy traveling and hanging out with my family and friends.  In my spare time I find myself taking long walks, browsing social media, listening to music, cheering on the Jayhawks and the Kansas City Chiefs, and shopping at my favorite stores.
