FIX and SIGNS
Middle schoolers may fix and sign assignments that are below 75%. This means they can make corrections to any and all assignments, and one quiz or test per quarter, to improve their grade on that assignment, up to 75%. All mistakes must be corrected to earn the 75%. Students can get help with corrections from any teacher at appropriate times. Deadline for fix and signs are the midquarter and end of quarter dates posted in the classroom.
LATE WORK
Any assignments that are turned in late are automatically 75% (or less if incorrect) and cannot be “fixed”. It is up to the teacher’s discretion to decide if an assignment is ‘late’ once it is turned in past the deadline. Any missing assignments that have not been turned in before the unit/chapter test has been given will automatically change to zeros and can not be made up.

Did you check your notes for steps and examples? Were they helpful, accurate, and legible?
Did you give a sincere, honest effort for a good 30 minutes?
Do you have specific questions written down to ask the teacher tomorrow during Morning Meeting?
If all of those answers are YES, then STOP. Be done for today. Try again tomorrow, after getting more help.
