You are registered for CCCC classes for the semester if you recieve a confirmation email from me.  For the Fall semester this will be 8/1, Spring semester 1/5. Please read through all the information very carefully. The orientation answers 99% of your questions, if you ask me something that I know was in the orientation material, I will advise you to go back to that information to find the answer.

What do I do now? These steps are REQUIRED!

1. Read the CCP Orientation presentation attached.  This will answer 99% of the questions you will ask me (start dates, textbooks, log-in info, grades)  - if you ask me something that is answered in the orientation  I will recommend you go back to it. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ IT!

2. Make sure you join REMIND (this is required) Text @lchsccp23 to phone number 81010 OR Text @lchsccp23- to phone number 81010. 

Schedules

As a part of the Orientation, you will log into the Portal. Once you are in the Portal, you will be able to see your schedule in SELF-SERVICE. CHECK your schedule very carefully. Look at the days/times. See if it is online (will say DIST) or if you are still in a seated section. Seated sections will have a day/time listed. A reminder that courses only appear in BLACKBOARD the day the course starts! You should see a high school block labeled "CCCC in powerschool."

Reminder about LCS policy on withdrawing:

If you withdraw or are withdrawn from a CCP course this semester, LCHS will then place you in an APEX online course. This is a high school policy. If your CCP class was designated "off-campus" you will be required to return to school for the block to finish your APEX course. This course (and grade) will be reflected in your high school transcript. If you have questions about the policy please see your guidance counselor or about withdrawing please see me. 

TEXTBOOKS: Please check your syllabus on the first day to see what you need!  All of these will be issued by me!

Included - You will have access to all your required course materials in Blackboard on the first day of class.  Nothing else to do!

Code - This means your course will utilize an online book/materials that I will purchase for you - DO NOT BUY IT :)  It will be sent only via REMIND text. 

Textbook- You will need a physical textbook for your course and will need to pick that up from me. 

PARKING PASS- If you are parking at CCCC and/or have a seated course please go and get a parking pass.  These are free for CCP students, but please have your CCCC Student ID number handy!  The business office is located (on the map attached) in building 9!

EARLY RELEASE/LATE ARRIVAL passes are received from guidance, AFTER the 10 day mark in the semester.  

If you have a seated CCCC class, you will receive an off-campus pass from me.
