I was born and raised in Augusta, GA. I love this city!

I was a dancer from the ages of 4 to 17, performing tap, jazz, ballet, and modern dance. You might catch me tapping around the classroom.

I have an identical twin sister. Her name is Brooke, and she is also a teacher! 

My family is huge, and they mean the world to me. They are my best friends.

I've been married to my sweet husband, Jimmy, for 5 years. We have a baby girl named Lily Claire!

I love flowers, and I make wreaths (with faux florals) as a hobby. 

Reading is one of my favorite ways to pass the time. I mostly read fiction, but you might find me with an occasional non-fiction book. I LOVE my Kindle.

I graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelor's Degree, and I am a HUGE Dawg fan. I also have a Master's Degree from Augusta University - support local!

My students become "my kids" each year. I love what I do! I've been teaching for 12 years. 

I LOVE RIVERSIDE! I'm in the ORANGE house, my teacher friends are my real-life besties, and I'm a faculty sponsor for Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).
