This week in math students will use place value to round multi-digit numbers.  By the end of the week students should be able to:

• round multi-digit whole numbers to any given spot.

8/10-8/14

This week in math students will use place value to:

• read and write multi-digit whole numbers to the hundred-thousands (word form, standard form, and expanded form) 

• compare multi-digit numbers using >, =, and < symbols 

• order up to 4 multi-digit numbers

8/4-8/7

This week in math we will be reviewing place value.  By the end of the week students should :

• know place value positions 

• be able to determine the place and value of a digit 

• recognize how the value of a digit changes
