Mrs. Glenda Boswell

My name is Mrs. Boswell and I will be your third grade teacher this year. This year I will begin my 25th year of teaching! My husband and I have been married for 24 years, and we have one son named Eli who is starting college this year. We are animal lovers, and we have three dogs and one cat that make life exciting! We love spending time together outdoors kayaking, hiking, and cycling! I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I know we are going to have an amazing year together!

Mrs. Maddux Cowart

Hi everyone! My name is Maddux Cowart, and I will be your third-grade teacher this year. This will be my fifth year of teaching! Some of my favorite things to do include spending time with my family, embroidery, and shopping! My favorite places to shop are amazon, target, and swank. I have one baby boy named Miller who will be turning one in September. I love bright colors, telling jokes, Dr. Pepper, anything spicy, and… MATH!

MS. Kira king

Aloha everyone! My name is Kira King and I’m thrilled to be working with your child this year in third grade! This is my fourth year in elementary education. Prior to this, I taught music at the collegiate level and owned my own voice studio. I have a BA in Music Performance, MA in Music Performance, and Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Elementary Education. Teaching is my passion and I aim to instill a desire for life-long learning in my students. When I'm not teaching, you'll find me spending time with my ohana and furbaby, FURgus! I’m excited to embark on a year full of learning, growth and inspiration!

Ms. Judy Hopf

Hi, My name is Judy Hopf and I will be your child's third grade teacher this year. This is my seventh year at Baker Place Elementary School, but I have been an educator for 26 years. I attended college at the University of Illinois in Chicago where I received a BA in Elementary Education. I later received my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. I am so excited to share my love of learning with your child. I know we are going to have an amazing year together! On a personal note - I love to read, see movies, paint, and exercise. My greatest joys in life are my two children and my pup, Oliver.

Mrs. Alexandria Kelley

Hi! My name is Alexandria Kelley and I will be your third grade teacher this year. This year I will begin my 10th year of teaching! I am originally from Florida, but I moved to Georgia in 2016 with my husband and dog Rocko. I attended college at the University of Florida where I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and my Masters in Special Education (Go Gators!). Some of my favorite hobbies include traveling, watching Gator football, playing volleyball, running, and hiking. I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I know we are going to have an amazing year together!

Hi! My name is Callie Curlew, and I can't wait to get to know you. We are going to have a lot of fun learning together this year! This is my sixth-year teaching third grade. I taught for four years in Gwinnett county, and this will be my second year at BPE. When I'm not teaching, you can find me spending time with my dogs and my husband Grant. We love to watch Georgia football and be outside! I can't wait for a great year together!

I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Augusta University, and I believe that strong communication between home and school is essential for student success. Hi, my name is Hendrika Proctor, and I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child this year. This is my 13th year at Baker Place Elementary. I taught Pre-K for four years, second grade for four years, and this will be my second year in third grade. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, reading, listening to music, photography, and watching TV. I LOVE teaching, and I am excited for the adventure ahead with your children.
