I am proud to call Baker Place Elementary my home. I have been a teacher for 26 years. I graduated from Augusta University with a bachelor’s degree in Education. I earned my master's degree from Central Michigan University. I am very passionate about sharing what I have learned with others. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and traveling. Exploring our world inspires me to bring these historic and natural wonders into the classroom through pictures, artifacts, and literature in hopes it will inspire the children to become lifelong learners as well!

My name is Mrs. Boswell and I will be your third grade teacher this year. This year I will begin my 23rd year of teaching! My husband and I have been married for 22 years, and we have one son named Eli that is in 11th grade this year. We are animal lovers, and we have two dogs, one cat, and one bunny! We love vacationing at the beach, in the mountains, and at amusement parks! I am so excited to be your teacher this year. I know we are going to have an amazing year together!

My name is Mrs. Cowart and I will be your third grade teacher this year! I am recent graduate of Georgia Southern University (Go Eagles) and currently working on obtaining my Masters degree from Thomas University. This year I will be completing my second full year of teaching in December and beginning my third year when we return from Christmas Break! I am from a small town in South Georgia and made the move to Augusta after getting married this past June. Some of my favorite hobbies include boat rides at the lake, Georgia Southern Football, riding thrilling roller coasters,  telling jokes, and spending time with friends and family.

Hi, My name is Judy Hopf and I will be your child's third grade teacher this year. This is my fifth year at Baker Place Elementary School, but I have been an educator for over 20 years. I attended college at the University of Illinois in Chicago where I received a BA in Elementary Education. I later received my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. I am originally from Illinois and have only been a Georgia resident for six years now, but I love it here! My greatest joys in life are my two children and my dog, Ralph. Hi!  My name is Alexandria Kelley and I will be your third grade teacher this year.  This year I will begin my 8th year of teaching! I am originally from Port Saint Lucie, Florida, but I moved to Georgia in 2016 with my husband and dog Rocko. I attended the University of Florida, where I earned my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and my Masters in Special Education (Go Gators!).
