Hi! My name is Lexi Tanner.  I grew up right here in Martinez and graduated from Lakeside High School. Go Panthers! I am married and have three children: Ethan, Emmaline, and Elliott. 

I attended Augusta State University for my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education and graduated in May 2011. I completed my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction at Georgia Southern University in May 2017. In May of 2021, I graduated with my Doctoral degree from Augusta University. I completed my ESOL endorsement through the district in the spring of this year. I truly consider myself a lifelong learner! 

The 2024-2025 school year is my 14th year in Columbia County! In previous years, I have taught 2nd and 5th grades. This year, I am very excited to continue my role as an Early Intervention Program (EIP) teacher at Martinez Elementary School. I am looking forward to supporting 4th and 5th grade students in their math journey!
