Dr. Crystal Fleming
Serving as ESOL Teacher for Harlem Middle School & Harlem High School. ESOL Representative for North Harlem Elementary.
My name is Crystal Fleming. I was born and raised in Thomson, GA and graduated from Thomson High. After graduation, I married Bo Fleming who is also a teacher and a coach, and we moved to Warrenton. We now have three children, two boys and a baby girl (2021). I would say where we spend our free time, but there is none.
I received a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Shorter. I knew since I was a little girl I wanted to be a teacher and I LOVE Spanish language and culture.
In order to graduate with a B.A. in Spanish, I was required to spend a semester abroad. I chose the University of Costa Rica. The professors there were fantastic, the food was amazing and I hope to make it back there some day.
After I began teaching in 2007, I decided to further my education. At AU, I studied linguistics and received a Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialty in Language Acquistion (Spanish).
Later, I earned a Specialist degree in Education for Curriculum Studies. I also earned my Education Doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Georgia Southern. I got to pet the eagle!
Petting the EAGLE!!
