About me:
I am going into my 25th year teaching 8th grade math. I spent 18 years in Richmond County at Sego Middle School and Pine Hill Middle School. I am very excited to be starting my seventh year at Evans Middle School. I have a Bachelor's degree in Middle Grades Education with a concentration in Mathematics from Augusta College (currently Augusta University), a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State, and a Specialist's degree in Middle Grades Education from Augusta State (currently Augusta University). I am married at have a daughter who will be beginning her first year at Augusta University. Giving back to our community is important to me, so I also serve as the EMS Beta Club sponsor. Grading Policy:
Summative assessments will count 70% and Formative Assessments will count as 30% as is the grading policy for Evans Middle School. Formative assessments will be used to check in with student progress toward mastery of the standards. Reassessments will be given on summative assessments.
