Science Bowl is a fast-paced academic quiz competition run by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) that tests middle and high school students on biology, chemistry, Earth science, physics, energy, and math. Created in 1991, it features teams of four students plus an alternate buzzing in to answer complex technical questions.
