This is an advanced mathematics course meaning that we will move through material at a rapid rate and explore mathematic topics on a deeper, more conceptual level. Students in my advanced math class will be held to an extremely high standard. Behaviors that distract from the learning environment will not be tolerated. Coming to class daily, having a good work ethic, being responsible and respectful, being an active participant in class, and studying at home will be required in order to be successful in this course.

Please note that classroom performance, including, but not limited to, I-ready diagnostic scores and formative and summative assessment scores, will be taken into consideration when considering placement in our advanced math class. If advanced math is not a fit for your child, we will meet as a student, teacher, and parent team to discuss other options.
