Welcome to the ESOL Program!
The ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) program is designed to support students who are learning English as an additional language. Our mission is to help you build strong skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking—so you can feel confident both in school and beyond.
This Year’s Class Formats
Based on your language needs, you’ll be placed in one or more of the following types of ESOL support:
Push-In: I’ll join you in your regular classroom and work alongside your teacher to help you during lessons. You’ll stay with your classmates while receiving language support, so you won’t miss any instruction.
Innovative: You’ll be placed directly into regular content classes—like math, science, or social studies—with teachers who have an ESOL endorsement. These teachers are trained to support English Learners and will provide language help while teaching core subjects.
In-Person: You’ll spend part of your day in a dedicated ESOL class with me. This small-group time is all about you—building your skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking through focused, personalized instruction. It’s a space where you can practice, ask questions, and grow confidently in a supportive environment designed just for English learners.
No matter which format you're placed in, I'm here to help you succeed—and I can't wait to see all you accomplish this year!
