Welcome to Brookwood Elementary!

I am excited to be teaching your child this year, and look forward to a  fun year of learning together! This is my 26th year as an educator, and my fourth year at Brookwood Elementary.  This year I am team teaching with Ms. Arnold and Mrs. Cutler.  I will be teaching Science & Social Studies, Ms. Arnold will be teaching Reading, and Mrs. Cutler will be teaching Math to our group of wonderful 5th grade students. I have been happily married for 33 years, have two amazing, adult daughters & son-in-laws, two sweet doodle-dogs, and a precious new grandson. 

Teaching children is a passion of mine. I want to help your child become a strong thinker as well as a strong, compassionate person.  My favorite song is "Be Humble and Kind" by Tim McGraw because it is one of the most important lessons in life. We all need to strive to be our best, and to be humble and kind along the way. I look forward to getting to know all of the students, and helping them become the best they can be.
