iReady
iReady is an educational program that helps students in sixth grade improve their skills in reading and math through personalized lessons and practice activities. It uses adaptive assessments to tailor learning to each student's needs, allowing me, as the teacher, to track progress and adjust teaching accordingly.

Formative/Summative Assessments
Formative assessments are assessments that are used to help guide my teaching. These assessments are short and very specific, usually covering one to two standards. Formative assessments are the same as a quiz grade. Summative assessments are assessments that show what standards students have mastered in a unit and what specific standards students may need reteaching in.
Reteach/Retest:
Reteaching and retesting will be completed for concepts that were not mastered. This can be done during connections, after-school tutoring or lunch (if the teacher is available.) It is the student’s responsibility to schedule the reteaching/retesting with me.
