What is the best way I can know what my child is learning?
I will send home monthly newsletters to keep you informed of the content that we are learning and what we will be moving towards. This newsletter will be also be posted to our class website, here. Please make sure you have also signed up for Remind as I will regularly post class photos of the activities that we do.
For math, there will be a parent/guardian letter sent home every 3-5 days that informs you of the skill we will be working on.

I do not typically assign homework (unless it is to finish something that was not completed in class and under extreme circumstances only) or as additional practice. IT will be beneficial for your child to read at home nightly to grow in fluency and vocabulary.

You can add funds with cash or check by sending in money with your child or you use the EZSchool Pay app to add funds online.

Columbia County uses Edulog to map and track buses. If you are a parent or guardian please email me for the school code to begin tracking your child's bus.
If you need to find your child's bus number you can use the Find My Bus tool.

HOW CAN I VIEW ASSIGNMENTS AND DUE DATES?
Students will fill out their planners with upcoming homework, quizzes, and projects that may be due. We will also post assignments in Google Classroom.
Grades will be available through the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus. I do my best to post grades to Parent Portal within one week. If a student is missing or has incomplete work I will notify you through the planner, email, and/or Class Dojo.
