Hey y'all! Welcome to second grade! My name is Paris Josey and I'm super excited to have you in my class! I've lived in Augusta since I was four. Both of my parents were in the military so I wasn't born here, but Augusta has always felt like home. I taught 4th and 5th grade during my first two years of teaching in Bibb County which is located in Macon, GA. This will be my 11th year teaching. I have taught 9 of those years at Blue Ridge and I love it here. We are truly a family at BRE!

I received my bachelor's, master's and specialist degrees from Augusta State University.  I am also a Level 1 Google Certified Educator and enjoy learning more and more about technology and how it can help my kiddos learn!

I have an amazing nine-year-old little boy, and his name is Cameron. You will hear lots about him throughout this year. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, reading, working out, spending time with friends and family, and having fun outdoors.  

I am bursting with excitement to start the 2023-2024 school year! We are going to learn so much and have so much fun!
